Reasons not to choose us.

If you’re totally cool with...

  • Mystery fees showing up out of nowhere
  • An estimate that leaves you with more questions
  • Having no clue who’s coming into your home
  • Getting passed around when you need answers
  • Playing the “what happens next?” game
  • Important details left until the last minute
  • Pushy sales tactics
  • No real conversation when there’s a problem

Then yeah...

We’re probably
not a good fit.
No hard feelings.

But if you’d rather ask questions, get straight answers, and feel good about the plan...

That’s kind of our thing.

Why Top Choice

How we help
with your move.

Most of the work in a move happens before a truck arrives. Deciding what goes and what stays, what it will cost, who is qualified to carry it, and when they can be there.

Our team has fifteen years in the industry and knows which details change an estimate. We ask about them early, so the figure you are given holds up when the crew arrives.

Ask us anything.
A better place to start.

THE REASON FOR ALL OF THIS.01 / A NEW CHAPTER

Moving services

Tell us what
the move needs.

A studio across town and a four-bedroom across the country need different crews, different trucks and different timing. Start with what you are actually moving.

01

Long-distance moving

Moving to another state? We help you plan the timing and the details for your route.

Interstate & cross-country moves
02

Packing & unpacking

Pack it yourself, get help with the kitchen, or have everything packed. Tell us what you want and it goes into your estimate.

Full or partial packing needs
03

Storage planning

If your move-out and move-in dates don’t line up, we’ll help you plan for storage in between.

When moving out comes first
04

Specialty items

Pianos, safes, artwork and other large or delicate pieces. Mention them early so your moving team comes prepared.

Delicate, oversized & personal

Discuss service availability, responsibilities, and costs before booking.

A move worth planning well

Long distance
is its own job.

Long-distance moves have more moving parts. Keeping track of them is our job, not yours.

Plan my move

Mile one
to the last.

What we collect

Route, inventory, dates, access at both ends.

What we explain

What the estimate includes and what could change it.

What you decide

Which date, which services, and whether to go ahead.

How it works

Three steps, and
none of them rushed.

Bring the half-
formed questions.

01

Tell us about your move.

Where you’re leaving, where you’re headed, and what’s coming with you. Start with what you know. We can work through the rest.

02

Work through the details.

Talk through the services, timing, and estimate. Bring up the stairs, the piano, the questions. This is the time for all of it.

03

Book with confidence.

Review the scope and terms. If the plan feels right, we help you get it booked with the moving company, so you know what to expect before moving day.

Most people start before their dates are fixed. That is fine.Start with my move

Fragile and high-value items

The items worth
flagging early.

Books, glassware, a mirror that will not go back in its original box. Tell us which items worry you and the crew arrives with the right materials for them.

  • Tell us what needs extra attention.

Delicate, oversized and high-value pieces change the materials, and sometimes the crew.

  • Decide where you want a hand.

A full pack, the kitchen only, or nothing at all. Each one moves the estimate.

  • Keep your essentials close.

Set aside what you’ll need before you’re ready to open every box.

Let’s talk about your move

A plan.
Made together.

Before you book

Good information.
Better decisions.

A quote is more useful when you understand what’s behind it. Start with an accurate inventory. Talk through the access, timing, and help you need.

Ask what’s included, what could change, and how changes are handled. The details should make the next step clearer.

Talk through my move

Read it. Ask about it.
Feel good about it.

TOPCHOICE RELOCATION

Your move, on paper.

The details behind the estimate.

What’s coming with you

Inventory, size, and any items that need special discussion.

The route & the access

Distance, stairs, elevators, parking, and building requirements.

The timing & the help

Preferred dates, packing needs, storage, and the agreed services.

Understand the details.
Then make the call.

A little preparation goes a long way

Less last-minute.
More ready-to-go.

A few things worth doing before the boxes take over. Save yourself some hunting, guessing, and one very long first night.

Start with
the essentials.
One box at a time.
Before you pack

Know what’s going.

  • Sort what to keep, donate, or let go.
  • List large and delicate items.
  • Note anything that needs a closer look.
As you prepare

Cover the practical stuff.

  • Confirm building and parking rules.
  • Ask about elevator reservations.
  • Plan utilities and address changes.
The day before

Keep the essentials out.

  • Pack documents and daily medication.
  • Set aside chargers, keys, and a change of clothes.
  • Keep your move paperwork handy.
Your first night

Make a little room.

  • Find the bedding and bathroom basics.
  • Unpack what you need tonight.
  • The rest can wait until tomorrow.

And yes. Label the coffee box.

Common moving questions

What people ask
before they book.

Have a different question?

Ask away.

Not sure what to ask?
Start with your dates and go from there.

(888) 753-7310
01

How do I get started?

Give us a call, or send your starting point, your destination and roughly when you want to move. That’s enough to begin.
02

Does requesting a quote book my move?

No. Sending a quote request does not book your move or reserve a date. It starts the conversation.
03

What affects my moving estimate?

Mostly how much you’re moving, how far, and when. Stairs, long carries, packing and special items matter too.
04

Can I include packing or special items?

Yes. Tell us what you’d like packed and what needs extra care, and it goes into your estimate.
05

What if my dates don’t line up?

Tell us which date is fixed. If there’s a gap between moving out and moving in, we’ll help you plan for storage.
06

Who actually moves my things?

An independent moving company provides the crew and the truck and performs your move. Top Choice is the broker: our team helps coordinate the arrangements with you, from the estimate to moving day.
07

What should I know before booking?

Check the estimate, the payment terms and the cancellation terms before you sign, and keep a copy.
